SCharge is now listed on BHEL's PM E-DRIVE EV Charging Portal
We're proud to share that SCharge has been officially added to evcsmhi.bhel.in — the Government of India's national EV Charging Station Management & Project Monitoring portal, managed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) under the PM E-DRIVE Scheme.
This is a significant milestone for us. The portal serves as the central procurement and deployment backbone for India's public EV charging rollout, and being listed here means SCharge's chargers are now formally recognized as eligible equipment under this national infrastructure programme.
For those unfamiliar with PM E-DRIVE — it is one of India's largest EV infrastructure initiatives, with BHEL as the nodal agency coordinating deployment of public charging stations across highways, cities, and key corridors nationwide.
What this means for SCharge:
- Recognition as a qualified EV charging OEM under India's flagship EV infrastructure scheme
- Access to a large pipeline of government-backed projects across CPOs, fleet operators, and public agencies
- Strengthened credibility for our Made-in-India AC and DC charger product lines
We've been building SCharge from the ground up in Nashik — designing, manufacturing, and certifying every charger in-house. Getting listed on the BHEL PM E-DRIVE portal is validation that we belong at the table where India's charging infrastructure is being built.
